Entry Six

So. How many of you are regretting what you just went through? I would assume a few.

However guess that's also just in disgusting human nature to begin with. To reproduce without thought, to not care what happens, to just feel good as you idiots seem to put it.

Have fun with the consequences I'm sure will come. I'll be laughing in your misery.

Misery? Oh no, not at all. It was a little tiring, I'll admit, but overall I quite enjoyed myself.

Then you're obviously one of the few who managed to keep their brains focused instead of following base instinct alone.

Ah, but I did follow base instinct with my beloved. Rather more than a few times.

Still proving my point. You did so with your beloved instead of just some random person. That is, essentially, still using your brain in conjunction.

Well, it does help that my beloved and I share a room. Proximity made it easier to get to him than it would have a random person.

Would you rather me call it just luck or having some sense?~ Because I can call you stupid still, if you'd like.

Oh, all right. You can call it showing sense if you wish. After all, I didn't jump either of my other darling roommates.

...I just prefer nonsense to sense.

And there's my point. I wonder how many people will be hiding for the next few days~

Several, I'm sure. Goodness knows that I'd be in hiding if I'd done anything with anyone other than Saetan. Both out of shame and a concern for keeping myself in one piece. He's a wonderful man, but if anything pricks that Warlord Prince temper of his...

Warlord Prince?~ *One track mind, what.*

Mmm, yes. That is what it's called. He could explain it better than I, but I could try if you wish.

Please do try~ I'm quite curious.

Very well. On Saetan's world, there are two sorts of people, the landen - who have no magic - and the Blood - who do have magic. And among the Blood, there are various social castes defined by gender (with females being more powerful than males), whether one is Jewelled or not, the color of the Jewel (the darker the Jewel, the deeper the power reservoir available), and genetic predisposition.

Warlord Princes are the highest of the male castes. They are also the most dangerous, having tempers that are far too easily provoked to what's called a killing edge - self-explanatory term, that one. The Queens - the highest female class - are generally the ones to keep these fellows in hand, but in turn the Warlord Princes can be quite over-protective of their Queens.

Sounds like a very interesting social structure, in my opinion. I may have to look into this a bit more in depth when I get the opportunity. Much more interesting than my world, that's for certain.

When this is all over, I plan on returning with Saetan and seeing this complex social dance for myself. Though you can see a bit of it here. There are three rather strong Warlord Princes in the compound and one Queen, and the Lady Surreal. I'm not sure what her caste is, though I'm given to believe that she has a rather strong Jewel.

Perhaps it is time for me to do a bit of field research then, especially since it's safe for me to do so with all of this nonsense done with. Thank you for the information, I suppose. It should keep me distracted for a bit.
