I like the evening. I never feel tired until late, so I always have lots of time after Jeremy's toddled off to bed to just sit and listen to music, and think. Lately I'll just sit and talk to Evan, or Erik. We won't really talk about anything in particular, usually just nonsense. But it's nice, because I like being to connected to someone, since I never really like being alone. I find if I'm just sitting here not talking to anyone, I'll get really depressed for no reason at all. I'll start thinking about everything I wish I was doing, everything I wish I could say to people, all the people I miss. It really blows.
Then some sad song will come on, and everything will go to shit.

Whew.

That's depressing stuff.

It's times like this that I forget all the good stuff that's going on,all the things that I have, and focus on all the things I haven't gotten around to doing.
A long time ago, whenever one of my friends were sad, I would make them write a happy list.. Ten things that make them happy, so they actually sat down and thought about 10 things that make them happy, and then they forget about whatever was making them sad. It was quite genius of me..
So, Here is my happy list.

#1 Jeremy of course. we've been together for almost 3 years now, and he's been nothing but sweet as pie.
I'd like to marry him someday.
#2 Sandwiches. I love sandwiches. They're so fresh, and so cold and delicious.
#3 Leaves. Fall is my favourite season, and I love love love crunching leaves. It makes me happier than crunching leaves should. I've been known to swerve my car on empty streets to crunch leaves with the car.
#4 My hair. My hair, for the most part, makes me happy. I look at it as a form of self expression, and if I'm having a good hair day, I'll do pretty much anything. Nothing can bother me. It's pretty neat.
#5 Going for walks. I don't know what it is, but a conversation always seems better when there's pretty things to look at, and of course, leaves to crunch.
#6 Shoes. I love shoes. I added it all together a while ago, and there's a good chance that at one store, (www.fluevog.com) I've spent around $2000. Isn't that nutty? that's nutty. They're so pretty.
#7 Music. Music makes my mood, like I mentioned before. But sometimes music that shouldn't make me happy, does. For example, on really sunny warm days in the summer, I love to walk around listening to At the Drive In. It's a gorgeous day, i'm smiling at everyone, but no one knows that I'm listening to screamy angry music. It makes me happy for some reason, like it's my little secret.
#8 Knitting. I don't know what it is, but there's something about winding yarn around sticks that is oddly satisfying. It's probably because I'm actually making something out of nothing.. but still. It's just yarn and sticks.
#9 I know at least Evan's going to laugh at this but number 9 is drinking. I've never gotten totally smashed or anything, so anytime I've drank it's with close friends, and I always end up feeling so happy and giddy by the end of the night.. It makes me feel nice. It just lets me loosen up and want to hug people, which I don't often do with some people. Plus, I've finally done something that I might not have done sober. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed by it in any way.. Ask me and I might tell you what it was.
#10 I think #10 is going to be all my lovely lovely friends. If I didn't have my friends, I would be a lonely sack of boring housewife. Even though I don't see some of you that often, it's still nice to know that you're there, and you might wonder how I'm doing every once in a while. Which is nice.

There you have it, my happy list.
Maybe everyone could tell me a couple things that make them happy. A whole happy list like mine would take quite a while, so maybe just a few.
I think I'll go read now, So good night all, Or good morning. Whichever it is, have a lovely one.
