Sabastion - Diabetes

I need help finding a vet who is passionate about researching diabetes in animals. I need someone that has more information to help me help my little guy. This is all breaking my heart. He is losing too much weight and his eyes seem to be getting worse.

We were finally able to get a blood meter for him and had to poke the poor thing about 10 times and still not enough blood to test him.

Point me to someone. A list of vets, phone numbers, something. Please.
