new phone release day

at a standstill due to sprint computer system being jammed.
but soon I will have my new phone!

Good luck with it. I have heard that battery life on it is horrendous. As in good for 4-5 hours of moderate use horrendous. As in makes the pre look like it has a great battery life horrendous.

FIrst day i played with it wthe whole 5 hours, and yep, solid use, 5 hours of battery (almost to the minute)

Then (before i read your article, which would have told me this had i read it when you sent it too me, but i managed to figure it out) i realized how much runs in the background.

With the app killer, i get a full day out of moderate usage.
I miss my physical keyboard, but i am so far very happy with how the device runs.

Thing is, you shouldn't have to kill all the apps and such just to make your phone usable. It bugs me enough with the pre that I have to have chargers and home at the office and in the car just to make sure I can keep it powered, I think the HTC would drive me absolutely batty.

Give me a decent smart phone that actually can retain battery power for a day without resorting to having to goof around and kill off programs and the like (on Sprint for the Iphone people that may reply, though I don't even think the Iphone does).

That is all I ask =)

Ooh, curious to see what you're review is on it. I've been seriously considering it for when I upgrade to a smart phone.

Really nice! i miss a physical keyboard... but it makes up for it in all that it DOES do.

The speed is nice, the camera is HIGH quality, the aps are fun and useful. i am still amused at the aps you cannot delete, like Facebook, Sprint Football, sprint Nascar, Stock report, etc. They just clutter up my list!

I want a spare battery when they make them available.
