Discussion 05: How did the relationship start?
Last week's discussion question is still open for discussion (though, really, the discussion questions never close XD), but I figured I'd get back on schedule this week:
Discussion 05 (also suggested by
fenm) How did their relationship start? Who initiated the romantic/sexual sexual aspect of it?
This is a very important question for me. In my drabbles I have several different timelines involving when they first hook up. Sometimes it's before Hakoda marries Kaya, sometimes it's during (I'm awful, I know), sometimes right after she dies (but it's more of a comfort thing that goes too far), but typically I see their relationship starting after Bato rejoins them after being left at the abbey. Personally, I believe Bato already loved Hakoda pre-burn (and vice-versa) but it took the separation to make them actuallyrealize it.
As for the second part... well... typically I see it as Hakoda initiating it, but only after Bato makes some sort of hint about it.
ANYWHOOSE, what's your opinion?
