Nook Color
So... Someone I work with went ape-crazy generous and gave me a Nook Color. Man, what a cool toy! So, it's a reading devices, right? I mean, that's what it is on the surface. But, what it really is, is an Android tablet. I rooted it (which is like jail breaking or cracking or hacking), and once you do that, you can load the Android market and use it for whatever you want. It's... super cool. It was really interesting to do, too. There's a lot of really geeky crap involved, but here's the really interesting part, it was so easy to root, that my WIFE DID IT. Yeah. The instructions are that simple. I love my new toy. Ya'll can get me a nice leather cover or hard carrying case for my birthday if you want.
