New Year
I guess it's a new year. Our new year was... frankly, completely uneventful. Though, this year, we made it to midnight. Sure, we were already in bed and trying to fall asleep, but I did at some point look up in a daze to see that it was midnight.
In honor of the new year I was cleaning the bathroom. The thing I've noticed lately is that there's a ton of companies trying to get you to buy alternatives to ammonia and bleach. That's okay by mean. I mean, as much fun as it is to mix them and vomit your own lungs out, I rather just not be able to make that mistake. The weird thing though is all the things that have "awesome cleaning power" that I didn't know about. Apparently oranges are great a cleaning and I never realized that. Apparently that stickiness on my hands after I eat an orange is cleanliness. Coconut is something else I'm seeing in cleaners too. It seems like everything is capable of cleaning. Makes me wonder why we ever went with ammonia or bleach to begin with. Why didn't people realize hundreds of years ago the awesome cleaning power of kumquat?
