This biochar stuff sounds a little too good to be true. All I did was read this one article (and scan the wiki entry), but there's got to be a catch to this. If it's really as good as they say, then they better start using this stuff like crazy. Still, I'm skeptical. Anytime there's something this crazy good, I always wonder what the unforeseen consequences will be. Will biochar bring on the apocalypse by becoming self aware, merging with SkyNet, and then ushering in the age of machines? ... Probably not, that makes no sense. I guess it might be that good though. I mean, soy turned out to be the world's most versatile plant and they've yet to discover that it does anything bad. (Note: Claims that soy is the most versatile plant are based purely on conjecture and my own personal, ridiculous notions. Please see your local librarian to learn more about soy.) Still, one wonders if over use of soy foods might cause sterilization or something weird like that. I don't know. I just hate that "too good to be true" feeling.
In a sort of related topic, I found
this article about gaming to be rather interesting. I am tempted to read up more on this, but as it is (it's just a blurb), it is cool to think that there finding benefits to gaming. I always find that interesting. There was an article a while back (I'm not sure I ever linked it) that talked about video games improving hand-eye coordination too. That would totally explain why I poke myself in the eye so little.
