I've grown a little too lazy. My laziness even extends to the fact that I think I may have already posted this entry, but I'm too lazy to look back and see if that is true. Truly, I am lazy.

The real thing that reminded me of my laziness was public restrooms. These days when I go to wash my hands I just shove my hands under the sink. If water doesn't automatically start rushing out of the faucet, my immediate thought is "this one must be broken." Most of the time, it's actually just a "manual" sink. It cracks me up when that happens too. I feel like such a moron.

I do the same thing with doors sometimes. I just expect automatic doors. It even makes me angry when they're not. I'm way to important to have to open a door for myself. Why can't these things just know when I need them? It's so inconvenient.

My other problem is hotels. Why is it that they can't light hotel rooms in any decent manner? No matter the hotel, no matter how expensive or cheap, the hotel room always has 3 inconveniently located lamps that have 18 watt bulbs. I turned on all the lights in this room and I could still hide a pony in the darkness of the corner. Just put a few decent lights in, seriously! I'm paying $8 a night for internet, take that unbelievable profit and buy some decent bulbs. And, that $8 for internet is a joke. I just can't figure out how they've managed to set that standard. At some point business people across America need to start burning hotels to the ground until they get the message. Same goes for the $87 surcharge on local calls. Free soap, free shampoo, free toothbrush, free cable, but $8 for internet and ridiculous surcharges on phone calls.

complaining, self-stupidity
