Stupid Snow
Can you believe that it snowed here over the weekend? It was really cold too. Though, "really cold" was mid-thirties. So, for some of you, that's a warm day. I'm aware of that. However, here in El Paso, that's cold. In fact, the rest of this week should be back in the low sixties. That's more like it.
The snow was unreal though. You know how weird it is to see snow on a cactus? It's a little odd. I have to say though, the mountains are gorgeous with snow on them. They look really beautiful.
We took the dog to get groomed on Friday. We didn't go to the normal lady because we had a coupon for this other place. It was a mistake. They butchered my puppy! No, really. They did. She went from looking like a shih-tzu to looking like a greyhound or a chihuahua. The difference is quite striking. She went from very furry little puff to streamlined and sleek.
Otherwise, things are returning to normal after the long Thanksgiving weekend. It was nice. It was very laid back and full of pie. Mmmmmmm. Pie. We hung out with some of our El Paso friends doing a lot of nothing. We just watched movies and sat around and drank. This coming weekend I'll probably catch up on my cleaning. Yep. Take a weekend off and pay for it the next weekend. That's just how it is though. Clean. Play. Clean. Play. Such is life.
