Oh gosh. I really don't ever reply on live journal. I'm more of the lurker type person who reads every fanfic available. So I never commented before and you get my first one.

This was a really good fanfic and I felt the need to express my need for this to be continued. I've read slave fanfics and stories before but nothing in relation to Batman(unless Joker decided to take Batman as his slave, but that's not the same).

I think Joker and Batman were very in character(Batman's want to save the slaves was so very him. If he wasn't Bruce Wayne too, I'd see him being the type to try and abolish it, but that's just me). And it doesn't look like Joker's completely given up because he did kind of rawr at the other prisoners so they wouldn't attack him. Anyone would kind of wish for death at that point to some degree(in reference to the last line) but it doesn't look like he's given up yet so I'm rooting for him and waiting for his plans(or his strength and energy) to kick in and something explosive to happen.

I liked how you gave the background of it first because it gave an idea of the character development. This isn't just a fanfic to satisfy some need. It's an actual story with a plot and characters and it's not about sex or action or the like.

So uh there's my two cents. I do hope you put the next one up soon. I like it so far.

omg, I can't believe I'm your first fanfic comment on LJ! <333 I must admit, I think this is the most well received story I've published in a long time (5 reviews/comments and a few watches on ff.net).

I'm really glad you liked it - I did try to keep them in character as much as possible, but it is an AU. And don't worry about the Joker, he's got a couple of tricks up his sleeve yet!

I am a strong believer in backstory and plot - action is fine and dandy but has a place and time. I'm glad you like it too. ^.^

I keep planning to release the new one, but stuff keeps popping up - I have most of it written, just need to get two more events written in and then I'm good!
