Please remove, if this doth offend...
Hello all you wonderful artists and writers of my Batsession. I'm not a reliable writer, in that I am struck by inspirations that never make it to the page. And when they do, I find them written on scraps of paper about my house in crude, drunken writing. And I wonder to myself: "what the hell am I supposed to do with five sentences of Batslash I will never finish? Curse you, former self!"
Does anyone else have the same problem? All dressed up and no where to go? Well, I created a community where you can dump your unused prose and other people can comment to adopt them.
It's an orphanage for all those Serendipitous scraps of stories you never followed through with. This can include a paragraph, or a chapter of writing, a songfic idea, a prompt, even an unfinished sketch. You may have hit upon these ideas in the shower (in between belting out Belinda Carlisle to your shower head), at work or some other inappropriate place. You rushed home to write them down and found that while it was a great idea at the time, you aren't really that into it. But someone might be! Dump your unused ideas here. See something you like? Adopt!
We are specifically "Batman" here. More specifically, slash. But het and gen are very welcome as well.
If you decide to adopt a snippet, comment to tell the author that you are claiming it. Then knife-fight the other claimees. It'll be like Thunder-Dome in here... Or, more accurately, like hobos fighting over a wedge of cheese.
