No rest for the weary
Getting rest and a good nights sleep is good but I couldn't help but feel guilty for resting at a time like this. I know people at the evacuation centers couldn't sleep because it is crowded, dirty, and most of them are contracting colds and flu from one another.
I know we're supposed to sit tight and wait for an advisory for deployment but it doesn't feel right staying home.
That's why I decided to go out in the field tomorrow - I'm sure my efforts are needed in many other places.

*The storm is moving up to Aurora, which is right next to Gabaldon. I hope Kalayaan is doing ok.
