OK QUESTION PLZ:

in that opening scene, when the van or w/e pulls up to pick up the obviously-joker clown, HOW DOES NO ONE ON THE STREET NOTICE THE MAKE-UP??? hes supposedly wearing it; its on his face when he takes the mask off, yes? so why come no one is like walking the street being all DUDE WTF IT ISNT HALLOWEEN???

that always struck me as a bit odd. Perhaps the movie was making a point about cities and the fact that no one looks at each other? Though, I live in a city, and I would DEFINITELY notice a dude with clown makeup, hunched over on a street corner with a duffel bad!! I mean, wow, talk about serial killer looks.
