I know this includes Superman and many DC heroes, but it also has Batman so I hope you let me post this without being an inconvienence.
Of all the DC animated features, this one is the one I expected to see the most. It had a pretty interesting premise and having only two of the top guns from DC comics going against nearly all the villains and some of the DC heroes was a nice touch. Virtually everything from the comic version is featured here, sans a few lines of dialogue here and there and the fact that Powergirl is more involved in the vidoe than the comic book (I could be wrong of course, it has been a long time since I read the comic adaptation). The fights are pretty cool, my favorite was Hawkman and Captain Marvel vs Batman and Superman. First time I ever see Hawkman like this in a video or anywhere since Super Friends. Of course, Luthor was acting like a total lunatic with his views on "knowing what evil is". Also, in the DVD you can get two disks with the featurer movie and the second DVD containing interviews and a look into the Public Enemies animation. Along with two classic episodes of the Justice League called Injustice for everyone, which happens to be my FAVORITE two parter episode of the classic cartoon. I especially liked the way Cheetah looked there, and classic Joker voiced by good ol' Mark Hamill. Besides Batman Gotham Knight, Superman Batman Public Enemies has become my all time DC animated favorite. I keep rewatching the Hawkman/Captain Marvel fight everytime I pop in the DVD. It's just so awesome.
