Life of Kate update!!
Dear Friends and Family,
As of about 4:30 yesterday afternoon, I am officially unemployed. My position was an experiment and my boss was such a micro manager she had a hard time keeping me busy. It's been driving me crazy for the
past month or so, I just haven't really said anything because I didn't want to jinx the situation. Yesterday we came to the conclusion that it was time for that relationship to end. Now I get to start all over again from scratch, but I'm fine with it.
Haha, so now I am without my work computer. I called my parents and they met me at Scotty P's in Frisco with my old Powerbook last night. (Thank you David for letting me borrow him for a while.) The wireless at my apartment has an even harder time connecting to this machine. I took my buddy Heidi with me to Frisco, and after dinner we did some window shopping at the mall. Bless Heidi's heart, she's my little Jewish savior. Oh, and I got a very sweet text message from my brother, and I quote: "Whos ass do my boys and I need to whoop?"
So now I am searching for something new and exciting. I'm not worried about finding another job, I have been told that I am "very marketable," and life goes on.
I had lunch with my mom, Poofy's mom and some of their girlfriends and I've spent the last three or so hours on the computer at the Henry's house in Justin sending out resumes and looking all over Monster. I've already gotten a couple replies too. Yay.
