Perkins How I Loathe Thee

So last night was interesting. Played murderer. Went to BAR! with Jim. Came home at midnight, went back to BAR! with Lauren and Jeff. Came home from BAR! again, alone this time, at 1:30. Started watching The Prince of Egypt after putzing on the computer for a bit. Then Jim called from outside.

I went to let him in. He was very drunk, and his eyes were bloodshot and glazed.

"I need food badly," he said. I told him to use some of my quarters, but he insisted that he really needed food. I grudgingly got dressed and drove us to Perkins, where we were seated in the back of the smoking section. Jim was still very high and very drunk and was making a lot of noise, being very obnoxious. He continually was saying "Hot dogs" over and over while also repeating anything he heard anyone else in Perkins say, which irked some of the other customers and got an entire table of girls near us into hysterics. Jim noticed that he was being paid attention and stepped up his "I'm on stage" mode.

It took threatening him in every way imaginable to get him to calm down, as the management was watching us quite carefully.. he continued to giggle like a maniac for about 20 more minutes... ate a bit and finally calmed down a little. By the time we left, he was sobered up but still high. Unlike some people, Jim doesn't get mellow when he smokes up, he gets VERY excited and jumpy and it magnifies those aspects of his personality I like least, so you can imagine how happy and comfortable I was with an obnoxious maniac in the restaurant and then in the car for the ride home.

We got back at 5:30 and I immediately went to sleep while I think Jim probably laughed himself into slumber.

All in all, a decent night became a substandard night which slowly degenerated into an early morning of the first truly homicidal urges I've had in quite a while because unfortunately, not only does Jim know how to push my buttons to set me off, when he's drunk and high he loses his ability to gauge just how much he's bothering someone and goes completely overboard.
