I statements

Apr 29, 2012 22:20

Like most, when I'm talking with or confronting someone I tend to use I statements. Not just because it's polite or something but rather it is supposed to convey your feelings to the other party without attacking them. So what happens when you are confronting yourself?
It's not like I can say, "Me, you've really hurt me blah blah blah…". Doing so could put me in the looney bin, maybe. Nevertheless I'm trying to be better with myself on the terms of loving me. It's been a hill to climb from the deep, deep valley I was in. There is just one thing lacking- real, tangible intamacy.
I really do miss it and on varrious levels. I want to make my husband/family fantasy true.
