Hope, well my own
*SIGH* Ahhh... Wow.
Shocked. Still. Amazed. Still. I cannot describe to the best of my abilities what I'm feeling, however I'm still going to try.
I'm so happy to see the results from the election. It confirms what I've hoped for so long. The pain of the Civil War might start to finally heal. For so, so long the pain of the aftermath of the Civil War has plagued us and now with President(-elect) Obama we might see it more. Funding for the areas and people who are in need to most. Restructuring the auto industry not only to make better, more efficient and sensible vehicles but to reinvest in the communities that have been subjugated to the aftermath of its decline. So much will be watching this one man. We need to watch close the Congress. We've got what could amount to a unitary government and how they use their power will be interesting. Will they take back the powers granted by the Constitution or will they become the congress of the previous regime? I hope to see a congress that, with not having the Senatorial control option, strives to refocus it's original duty of producing bills that are aimed at making society more just and effective.
This could be the best turn around in our lives.
