Not too familiar with Shugo Chara's recent happenings, but this is divine. I can always expect you to write non-romance fics and its always a pleasure to read them (: The transition from hope to decay here was kind of expected, but still very sad. I like that all the factors in her life remained constant between the periods in which Tadase grows, the visits and flowers and photos are all beautifully written too. Though there is one part I don't get the part where she thinks that 'I can no longer be of help to you'. What does that mean exactly?

Nothing much I can say, except that getting her to talk at the end is pretty cool and meaningful, nice work :D

ah, thank you :D
this is actually a v. old fic that i felt like reposting for whatever reason, so i wasn't expecting any comments on it! (plus i didn't know anyone on my flist even liked shugo chara, lol)

I can no longer be of help to you
since tadase was so close with his grandmother, and since she taught him so much, this line made sense when i originally wrote it... but i suppose looking back it's a little unclear :T
might consider changing that.

but thank you again for the (unexpected) review ;D

Ahhh, I see I see.

I watched the first season back in the day, but after that.. ehh - my attention span isn't long enough for me to go beyond 52 episodes, usually. But I remember that I loved a majority of the characters, all bright and fun in their own way (: Rima, Tadase, Kukai... not part of the Ikuto and Utau (is that her name?) fangirl army though.

the manga is much better, in my personal opinion. i watched the anime for a long while and eventually just gave up b/c of all the unnecessary filler 8|
but yes, it is very adorable, and the characters are quite precious. i just wish the fanbase was a little less... typical. idc about ikuto/amu, i just want to discuss the semi-complex familial relationships, dammit D:
(my favorite was always kairi! /has a thing for megane characters)

I'll totally try it the moment I get the chance C: idek how ikuto/amu is so popular.. I find it weird that Ikuto is 16 and Amu is like what 12? so much younger. (Is she? Is she?)

Aw yeah, not forgetting Nagihiko! :D And urghh, can't remember Kairi's backstory. His sister was someone after the bad-eggs right. Or the lock/key lol I really suck with SC's canon now orz

mhmm, amu is apparently 12 (she might even be 11 when the story starts, idk). her age makes things a little awkward... it's like, really? a high school age boy wants to get with an elementary schooler? riiiiight 8|

nagi <3
i adore all the adults as well - nikaidou & tsukasa in particular. so adorable ///
SC's canon is strange and nonsensical, so it's all good. and yeah, kairi's sister was with easter for a time, but eventually came over to the good side, as all of SCs villains seem to do...

Oh Tsukasa, he's so different from Tadase, hmm. And yeah, I see the pattern haha.

I read Encore! yesterday and it was pretty good. It had logical pairings at least :D but gdi open-ending! ;;
