i have the most beautiful neice. 8 lbs. 8 oz. 22". :-)

my sister is still in recovery, but hopefully she'll be home tomorrow. after hearing (and seeing) what she went through.. i am in awe of her. she's a strong person and I love her so much!

thankfully I dont have anything to do until sunday so I can spend my time at the hospital with meri and the baby.did i mention how freaking adorable the baby is?!

My sister was in labor from 9am to 9pm. Cheyenne was born at 8:56 pm August 17, 20005. They had her pushing for forever and then the doctor came in and said that she would not be able to have the baby naturally because her pelvic bones are too narrow. So he called for an emergency c-section. My heart dropped when i heard that because Susan (one of the grandmothers) just got done telling a story about her friend who had to have an emergency c-section and they just about lost the mother and the baby.
---->freaking out<----
she came out of it okay though but I still cried. And then when I got to hold Cheyenne for the first time I cried again. It was overwhelming. I mean - I was holding this baby in my arms that was made by my sister and just thinking about how I get to help take care of her and raise her for the next six months is amazing. I'm so thankful that i get to be apart of her life.

I talked to anthony right after it happened and I need to thank him for letting me go on and on about it. :-) and when he come back up to move things he said he'd try and come by so he could see the baby. I have awesome friends.

on a lighter note: i twisted my ankle and it's swollen to a little bigger than a golf ball.
on a funny note: so i accepted Tony Roma's job offer and then on monday Marie Calendar's calls and offers me the job.. and then Mark comes home and says that Jose wants to offer me the job at Applebees.
Now I'm not sure if I want to work for Tony Roma's or Marie Calendar's or Applebees.
on an awesome note: I nicknamed the
