Donghae’s got a couple of pick up lines to try out, but all Kyuhyun wants to do is slam his head on the table. [drabble]
notes: this is totally not an excuse to use some of the cheesy pick up lines i know. of course not.
When Kyuhyun gets to club, he expects to get a drink and settle down into the back without anybody bothering him. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case.
“你好,我的漂亮宝贝.”
Kyuhyun, taken back, shoots the owner of the voice a semi-disgusted look from behind his cup of soju.
“Dongha-”
“Baby, if I could rearrange the alphabet, I’d put U and I together.” Donghae practically cries out to Kyuhyun over the loud music in horribly accented English.
“I bet that’s one of the only things that stuck during English lessons.” Kyuhyun snorts and continues drinking.
“If you’ll be my rising sun, I’ll be your east sea.” Donghae switches back to Korean and waggles his eyebrows as he swaggers toward the magnae, who is sitting on a plush couch in an unnoticeable corner of the club.
“Oh goodness, hyung.” Kyuhyun’s face is practically scarlet red with embarrassment now, and he tries to hide it with his hand. When he doesn’t hear Donghae say anything more to him, he looks up in curiosity to find Donghae with his cellphone out and a pout on his face.
“I think my phone is broken.” Donghae comments in a sad, quiet voice. His fingers lightly press up and down against the buttons of his phone.
“What’s wrong with it?”
“Your number’s not in it.” Donghae turns to Kyuhyun with the saddest eyes Kyuhyun has ever seen, and a big pout. He waves the device in front of Kyuhyun’s face.
Kyuhyun’s left eyebrow twitches and the grip on his shot glass tightens. Though he’s not saying it, the expression on his face screams ‘are-you-stupid?’ to Donghae.
“Don’t be mean.” Donghae sits next to Kyuhyun with a kicked puppy look pasted on.
“You’’ll sure get some girls with those lines.” Kyuhyun comments dryly and takes a sip of his drink. “No, not really.”
“But that’s why you’re my boyfriend, isn’t it?” Donghae grins.
“And I wonder why sometimes."
“Hey!”
