my mother is watching a documentary about the wizard of oz and they are talking about "over the rainbow"
our 4th of july was pretty anticlimactic. the parade was painful as always-too many people being waaaaay to patriotic for my taste, lots of noise, wand way to hot. it rained but then it cleared up that afternoon. then that night it stormed again so the fire works were cancelled. it was funny-my mother and i walked to a friends house as my dad went to park the car. just as we got there the wind kicked up and it started to thunder and lightning and then rain. it is sooooo cool to be outside when the lightning is going! so we went home. then it rained yesterday too so yeah, no fireworks this year. i went over to cassie's and we put our feet in the pool for hours then had pizza and watched the Lost Boys. i think the main actor looks exactly like5 jimmy (morrison)and cassie agreed. i told my sister the same thing and she didn't see it which i thought and still think is impossible and when i left it was storming. my father picked me up in the convertible. he was listening to this radio station that was playing techno. so we were driving fast (padre always does) and listening to techno and the lightning was going-it was awsome. then i listedned to the Venus Still Orbiting version of waitress as it stormed. i love listening to waitress from venus when it storms!
