Shorter of breath, one day closer to death...
even so, I had a great birthday. I was overwhelmed with warm fuzzies by the flood of happy birthday wishes on my Facebook wall, and I want to thank everyone who wished me a happy day. I'm really lucky to have so many people who have made my life so great. Mother and I went to Target and Pearl Street, and I got to pick out somethings that make me really happy. One of these things is the book "F.U., Penguin," which had me laughing outloud in the Boulder Bookstore:

and for all my Torigirls:

but I don't want to make seem like I'm just about gifts. I really enjoyed having a mellow day. The weather was kind of chilly and overcast, but I like gloomy weather so that was fine. My favorite part of the day was in the morning, when Cooper wished me a Happy Birthday over the phone. It was so cute!
The night was rounded out by a healthy dose of Project Runway and America's Next Top Model, which we finally got arround to watching the premiere of.
So while I'm having to get used to this "28" buissiness, the enevitable march of time is softened by knowing that I am loved.
