i love Halloween, it's my second favorite holiday, behind Christmas. Today marks the point where it's fair game to start preparing for it. We are decorating this weekend!
My 10 Favorite Things About Halloween
1. Specials on the History channel like "Ther Haunted History of Halloween" and "Hell: The Devil's Domain" and specials about haunted places on the Travel channel, Bravo's "100 Scariest Movie Moments" (even though it scares the shit out of me)
2. "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"
3. Dressing up
4. Seeing all the kids in their costumes
5. The festive fall weather
6. Carving pumpkins
7. Festive specials on Food Network
8. Eating candy with no guilt because it's one of my favorite holidays
9.My Halloween 2008 mix (especially "The Brides" from Dracula)
10. THRILLER! (although it will be a little strange listening to it this year this year)
in related news, somebody needs to put "The Making of Thriller" on dvd. i though it would be out by now but i think it's tangled up in legal stuff because MTV owns it or something. You'd think they'd have put it out ASAP as it would make them a shitload of money
also, Cinnamon Apple Spice herbal tea from Celestial Seasonings is the most yummy tea i've ever had.
