The Deluge

Mar 01, 2006 21:57

Last weekend as I was travelling home on the train, I watched two fronts gradually collide. But I didn't see a spot of rain. This weekend, however, my housemates and I went to Tropfest. That afternoon we blew bubbles (distributed by the good Tropfest volounteers), ate a tub of icecream with ice magic and played uno stacko. Like the other 90,000 people our evening ended with the closure of the screens and the saturation of all our possesions; clothes, blankets, biscuits and more. Lying under a leaking umbrella ontop of a twister mat (more 'Slip and Slide' than blanket), completely drenched from the stomach down was splendiferous.

'The deluge' seems an appropriate theme for the week.
