Sewing whore
I have returned to sewing, finally. It has been a long time since last I made anything.
Current items:
1. Forest green velvet dress for
baobh. Low cut (yay cleavage), knee length, sleeveless, slutty velvet (pets upward).
Status: Complete
2. Pirate shirts made out of gauzy material
A. Red, banded collar, lace up front V, stiff cuffs. This one is for Wendi, and will be sized to her
B. Black, banded collar, lace up front. For both of us, thus sized to me
C. Black, floppy collar. Both of us
D. White, floppy collar. Both of us.
I have the pattern pieces cut out of crap fabric, and I will be cutting out the black and red shirts sometime this week. Hopefully I will be able to get all three of them finished within the next couple of weeks. The white shirt will happen around the same time frame, I just need to pre-wash the fabric first.
3. Blue velvet dress for Wendi. It will be floor length and have fitted sleeves.
4. Leather top for Wendi. Corset-look style tank-top. The arm holes will be ringed by grommets so sleeves can be attached as desired. Material: black lambskin
Future items (ie--must buy material)
1. side-lace leather pants for Wendi. Similar to the pair I have for myself. Open all the way up the side, skin tight
2. Brown suede trousers with a fold-over waistband for me.
3. dual-color cut out trousers for me. Probably going to be black top-grain (smooth) leather for the main color, with distressed brown insets.
4. lambskin skirt for Wendi. I need to come up with a design for it.
5. Velvet trousers for me. This is currently just a vague thought. I might make them, I might not. But I do need more clubbing wear, now that we have found a club that we like and will be attending regularly. Spellbound, the first decent goth club in a while.
