You did a really good job on this. I can get a clear picture of what's going on with each of the characters.

OK, I'LL SHUT UP AFTER THIS, I SWEAR. Until I've had a nap & get some of my spamming strength back, that is. *meep*

I really, really, really liked this. Really, in case I didn't throw in enough of those already. It's an interesting take on Reid's aversion to weapons. I could totally see him having these same thoughts in canon, if only they'd let us in his head a little more often.

AND another thing which seriously impresses me? You write believable Gideon (and Hotch!), who, for some reason, seems to be a character who's maddeningly difficult to pin down. So major, major props to you on that, because his role in this was totally awesome & wibble-worthy. As was this:

Reid hadn't even had a chance to pull his own weapon. Maybe that was for the best - one less gun fired in the world.

Jeez, I hope you *did* get some sleep, woman! I can't believe you made it through this many of my fics so quickly!

OMG Gideon is such a bother to write nowadays. I'm really upset I didn't finish more of my 'Reid and Gideon' fics before he left the show - I can't find his voice at all anymore! Luckily, I finished this one a while before Mandy's disappearing act.
