I'm like Reberka Beccowitz, sittin' 'round the station ogling Jenny and updating my Livejournal ;)

"That's where I shoot my spiderweb from." - Jenny

My left hand is lazy.

I was at WSJR yesterday working with this wacky large black man with short little arms, named Bruce. He kept telling everyone he was training me in his own image and just about everybody there had a snappy comeback. I really like working in a place where "Patrice, I didn't know you grew up in the Bible Belt!" makes the whole room go "ooooooooh!"

Anyway, Bruce tries to tell me he was "normal" before he started working there. I refuse to believe him, since he wouldn't have even gotten involved with radio if he were normal, and finally he says, "You want to know not-normal? You ask Brian!" who's ears perk up and he says "Ask Brian what?"

So I look to the crazy old man on the other side of the room and shout "Is anyone in radio normal?" He walks over and says "If I've learned anything in all my years it's that there are three types of people who are definitely not normal, and radio people are one of them."

I look to Bruce. "See? We're not normal."
"The second is engineers..."
"That's my dad."
"...except your dad..."
"No, my dad is pretty eccentric."
"and drummers."
"That's my boyfriend."

I'm fucked.

Everyone should listen to my radio show RIGHT NOW to hear more "not normal"
