Thursday, while waiting for lab, my instructor came up to me and a handful of other students. He was holding some form of battery with two leads, and a dial where he could control the voltage. If you took hold of these two leads, you were given a shock.
He asks if any of us want to get shocked, and one guy volunteers. Then another fellow after him. Eventually the instructor asks if I want to do this. I decline, and he says, "This just proves that women are weak. You all want equality, but you're still just weak."
I was in shock. I fake laughed, with everyone else (apparently sexism is incredibly funny), because my brain couldn't quite process this.
I've decided to speak with my human sexuality instructor about this - if anyone knows the proper course of action, it's him.
I don't want to really take the teacher down, since I know his life isn't perfect and I don't want to cost him his job or anything. Also, I don't want to effect my grade. But, at the same time, I know he has done this before, and nobody should deal with such behavior.
