Hi. Um. Don't eat me, please.

I'm a newbie to the bat-fandom, in case you couldn't tell, and as a virgin sacrifice, I offer you a drabble. It's set somewhere after the events of Batgirl: Year One, in which Barbara Gordon muses on the birds in her life. Ahead lies Robin I/Batgirl I and Batgirl I/Black Canary, for those of you who really care.

Ha. From my talk of virginal sacrifices, femslash, and eating, one would think I was looking to get picked up. but, in that case, that request would be quite a bit different, now wouldn't it? (ohgodI'msicksickSICK.)

Am especially amused by:

If she wasn't in the market for an apprentice, as she had been told, then she seriously doubted she would be in the market for a girlfriend.

(I should probably also point out, as a non-newbie, that Dinah's probably on the other side of the country and dating Ollie at this point...)

And, thanks for the tip. I was mostly inspired by Batgirl and Black Canary teaming up for a short while in Batgirl: Year One, and seeing as how Barbara Gordon is my new Comic Book Girlfriend and goddammit, Black Canary is hot, my mind went right away to fem-slashy places.
