I stole this from ashley.
If Your Life was a Movie, What Would the Soundtrack Be?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...
Opening Credits: Cat Power, Enough
Waking Up: Joel Plaskett Emegency, The Day You walked Away
First Day At School: Metric, I.O.U.
Falling In Love: Butch Robbins, I'll be on that Good Road Some Day. (I just KNEW I'd fall in love to some crazy bluegrass twanger tune.)
Fight Song: Neil Diamond, Sweet Carolina. ...Fight song?!!
Breaking Up: Coldplay, Don't Panic
Prom: The Bluegrass Album Band, The Model Church. -Gee gosh, what a fun prom that would be!
Life: AHHHA Climb Ev'ry Mountain from The Sound of Music. How totally rad.
Mental Breakdown: Queen, Now I'm Here. (A pissed drunk schizophrenic song.)
Driving: Broken Social Scene, I'm still your Fag.
Flashback: Neil Young, Southern Man. (The question is, WHICH southern man? There were so many!)
Getting back together: Paul Simon, Take Me to Mardi Gras.
Wedding: Nelly McKay, Really. (It's pretty, but the lyicks aren't really so wedding appropriate.)
Birth of Child: Broken Social Scene, Pacific Theme.
Final Battle: Eurythmics, Don't Ask Me Why. (Don't ask me why I have the Eurythmics on my computer.)
Death Scene: The Weakerthans, Our Retired Explorer. (!)
Funeral Song: Byron Berine, Ragtime Annie. (Oh, again with the innappropriate bluegrass...)
End Credits: KD Lang, So it Shall Be. (I LOVE KD)
And just like my real-life life, this soundtrack does not make much sense, but it all kinda works anyways...
In other news, I am a houseplant!
