[ When the feed clicks on, Terry is obviously running somewhere... His breathing is heavy, the sound of heavy footsteps as he tries to escape. ]
As if this day could get any worse! [ The good news was the Subway project was completed... the bad? Everything went to hell in Fortuna. Every moment he thought he was "safe", he found himself in an alternate world filled with war and death. Not only that, but the corpses began to move... One of them had been Batman.
The original Batman, when Bruce was young. Terry had tried to fight him off, but the zombie was far too strong. This is what had started him running. He knew that if Batman wanted to catch him, he very well could and this running was just a game. Nothing was more fearful than having Batman play with you. ]
Sparrow, I could really use my su--
[ He's cut off as a horrible shriek engulfs the feed. For Terry, he finds himself unable to move quite suddenly, paralyzed in fear... his muscles aren't responding, his heart racing. He tries to get himself to keep going, knowing that he has no time for standing around... but it was no good. He was rooted to the spot. That's when he saw it... a grotesque figure, hunched over and approaching him, a wooden mask strapped to its face. A horrible moan was being emitted from the creature, its slow steps advancing on Terry, who felt all the more desperate to get away. ]
Oh, God.
[ The Tomorrow Knight found himself caught between a rock and a hard place. More specifically, a zombie and a bat-zombie. Batman had appeared behind him, his cape shredded and worn, but still quite intimidating when worn on the figure in question. Every second felt like eternity, especially with that creature advancing on him... Finally his muscles responded, prompting him to run out of the creature's gaze, throwing himself to the side in order to whip out a Batarang, embedding the projectile in the ReDead's wooden mask, stunning it momentarily. As for Batman, Terry noticed he was no longer where he'd once been... and let out a choked cry of surprise, finding himself being grabbed from behind, held in a tight, violent embrace from the animated corpse. ]
Auugghh!!
[ The stench was unbearable, and the zombie Bruce's strength was so much more than his own, his muscles ached just trying to fight him off. But why was he being held in place?! It was then that he heard a scream all too familiar that his blood ran cold. A monstrous, and yet human scream... and the flapping of wings. Looking into the sky, Terry saw himself.
A version of himself he'd became when he'd been given a concentrated dose of Vampire Bat DNA. The Man-Bat, wearing a torn up version of the batsuit, hovered in the air above them, talons ready to sink into its target. ]
Slag it...!
[ The communicator lay on the ground, face down, the audio thus becoming somewhat muffled and static-y, but everything could still be heard. Terry started to wish he hadn't separated himself from the others... He only had because he wanted to protect them from the undead Batman. He never would have imagined this ]
