I think TN has as much potential as CNY right now, which is to say the pickin's are MIGHTY slim. Yeesh.

Some roots are worth keeping and I will try to nurture those as much as possible (irishfury, Kevyn, Carol C., Bob, and Tom, being amongst the primary candidates). The rest will likely fall by the wayside.

You and I have manged to keep in touch for a long time, but with very large chunks of "MIA" in between. I hate that - can we make sure that never happens again? :P

And some of the crowd (alemya; mountainwitch; lgerrietts/ggerietts; a couple of my other B'burg folks (Mandy/Eric and Melanie); my life-long best friend from my home town, Tarra; one of my closest friends in jr. high and high school, Amanda; one the guys I dated in late high school, Chris; and two of my bestest-buddies in college, Jen and Beth) all keep in touch with me, regardless of where I am or what I'm doing now. Others have tried (and of the ones who have, I have either been too busy at the time to respond and thus lost the connection) or wasn't interested in maintaining that friendship, sadly. Some I lost out of sheer wrong-place-at-the-wrong-time syndrome.

But I do acknowledge that some will likely keep in touch if given the opportunity. Most just won't, for whatever reason. Sad, but these things happens.

*hugs*
