I feel like I'm playing chess without a queen, the most important player; able to move in almost ever direction; can face problems face on or be clever and come at problems from an angle, she can travel as far as her long legs will take her, and she is a tall finished piece unlike any other on the board. I feel like I'm playing chess without the queen. Sadly with chess when you lose a piece the pawn must travel into enemy territory all the way to the other side of the it's world to get back the queen but, it should know going there that it she will be surronded by those who want nothing more than to end the pawn's exsistance on the board.
I don't feel odd writing today because seeing it's pretty much what I've done all day. What's one more piece or two or three or eleven more? What's it going to do?
In all games of life you see the upside of down and the downside of good, the backside of fate and the upside of luck, you go from down and out to out on top and all places inbetween, you get caught in the moment and blown out on the trail, you think you'll never win but losing isn't an option, defeat is only mommentary in a winnerless circle, you feel like the end is near but find the last steps are the longest, you think the whole world is coming down but everybody knows everything bounces, where we end is mostly where we want to start again but no matter what happens when we start we never can see the finish.
