And tonight I toast, I toast to things I won't ever forget, no matter how many people tell me or try to convince me to forget them, to all the things you forgot, I toast and drink to their memory that shall live on in me and me only now; to Gabriel, to dirty sheets and little shits (grandma voice), to late night rendevous, to Hugh Grant and all the movies he's in, to sub-way runs, to little brothers who idolize, to loving before the loss of braces and acne, to cowboy boots, to four times and broken hurt hardware, to black and white film, to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, to the streets of Chicago at 1 AM, to taxis, to the breakwall, to black rocks, to little presque isle cliffs, to fires on the beach, to the fourth of July, to Kim Morris' living room, to water skis, to comfort from a bad father, to electric type-writers, to all the pictures on my wall, to Abercrombie and Fitch, to Jack Johnson and Matt Costa, to Aqualung, to state police, to the bowels of the ore dock, to snoring, to dead-like sleep, to comfortable socks, to H&M....to moments.
