So uh...

I dunno. Been spending a lot of time with Eva. My comic got a tonne of bad reviews all in a short period of time. People got promoted past me at work that I really don't think deserved it more than I do. School is going okay, though not great. I haven't really been accomplishing much, instead just spending all my time checking my email, and so forth. My weight has been pretty stable, certainly haven't been losing any, but I gained a few pounds in the past couple of weeks. Really bashed in my toe at Eva's, bruises started crawling all over it, but they seem to be finally fading. My toe still hurts a bit. My insurance (medical, dental, life) got totally borked by my employer but it seems to be finally fixed. My 401k stopped also, but I sent away for something to hopefully fix that.

Let's see... my sister Rebecca got married to her long-time beau Jason. I was able to go to the reception, but not the wedding. It was apparently a very small ceremony anyhow. The reception was really nice, the decorations were outstanding and my grandpa and aunt rosemary came. Most of the other people I didn't know, Jason's family. Everyone back home seemed to be doing alright for themselves.

My birthday was June 29th, and I got a digitizing tablet from my family (noice), a really nice lunch out at Wood Ranch BBQ with my family, a trip to the Edgefield Lodge with Eva (from Eva), and some other stuff. The trip to the Edgefield was incredible (despite the fact that I was, predictably, sick as a dog). A half hour professional oil massage was included, the hotel was gorgeous, and Eva was extemely attentive.

I broke my car recently, though it's been fixed since. Remember that idiot who cut me off a while back? Apparently my car had some serious rust damage on the left front side and snapped a control arm when that happened. We're talking a huge piece of metal here, not like a rod. It's really surprising I was able to drive on it as long as I did without crashing up. Eva was super helpful while my car was in the shop (for a lot longer than expected), though she got tired of it by the end. Mostly because I was taking up a lot of her time, and then trying to thank her with things that took up more of her time (like lunch out), and by tempting her away from her diet. Things are well now, though. Car's fixed, at least.

Eva is currently driving down to San Francisco to see her dad and sister. I'll try to use the opportunity to get some stuff done, though it seems unlikely I will. Today I slept in a few extra hours, dreaming about Eva the whole time.
