I'm past the weird hours working for the moment, though I still work Swing Shift, which could be said to be weird hours in and of itself. I'm at work at the moment, actually.

I've been sleeping horridly lately, last night being a perfect example. I apparently kept feeling up Eva in her sleep, which is never good, especially since she was apparently dog tired. I blame the beer, but really it probably went on longer than I could have been said to be drunk. My other defense being that it was in my sleep as well. So I went downstairs at 3am and watched Full Metal Alchemist for about 2 hours, then came back to bed. Eva had moved across the bed a bit, so I got in on the other side. She was confused in the morning.

School progresses, learning XML and HTML as well as 3d modeling / animation. Wee. I want to learn Blender, but apparently my laptop doesn't support whatever method they use to make the buttons. It's kind of sad that I can use the 3d manipulations and so on just fine, but can't see the buttons. The little 5 pixel square buttons shouldn't be more high tech than the 3-d worldspace, imho.

Full Metal Alchemist is pretty engrossing, if you can stand the constant bloody death scenes. It's exactly my cup of tea genre wise in the way that Veronica Mars is not. However, the dark edge is a little extreme. It intentionally creates characters and tries to give you an emotional attachment to them, then kills them off messily. That's not why it's my genre... the magic is what does it. I seem to be heavily into fantastical fiction lately.

The real world sucks. Hm... Priority One alarm. Gotta go.
