Like clockwork, baby.

Y'know, I read livejournal every day, sometimes twice a day, and I comment on other journals from time to time. My own life just isn't that interesting, I guess. Hah.

Anyhow, last weekend I went down to Socal to see the family. I didn't really spread it around too much that I had lost my vir-gay-nity, but I did hint it to some of my more liberal siblings. The response was pretty mild. I definitely can't tell the folks, they'd probably be okay with it, but they aren't exactly PFLAG.

We didn't really do much, just kind of hung out. Thanksgiving dinner was on Saturday, so I didn't miss it. Luckily my nephew skated into a pole and lacerated his spleen, and didn't get out of the hospital in time for Thanksgiving, so they held it over for him. Sucks though, he can't do anything for about 6 months that might get him bruised, like running or jumping. At all, or his spleen will pop all over his gut cavity. That's harsh.

We played Texas Hold-em, which was fun. I didn't do too well, but neither did I lose first. I bet too much on hands where someone else ended up having the same cards with a better kicker. Like a pair of Kings and Sixes with a 2 and someone else had Kings, Sixes, and a 9. That's the game though, I guess. It was pretty quick that Roy had enough to defeat any bluff, ie he could afford to lose if someone else went all in. Mostly that was because my mom went all in really quickly and lost it all to Roy. The funny part was that my dad gave her his chips so that she could keep playing. Good money after bad, heh.

My flight home was delayed for a really long time, and it was already getting in relatively late. Eva picked me up, which was a really hard thing for me to ask of her, since we didn't get back to my place until like 4:30am. There wasn't much sleep to be had that night, what with work that morning for me and school for her.

She seems to be over her "distracted" phase. For a while she was really into me, and she still pretty much was at the start of this week. But I've told all there is to tell about my extracurricular activities to her, and she has started focusing on her schoolwork and is starting to treat me like an inconvenience again. It's fine, because I'm starting a new quarter (video production and econ) and I enjoyed the extra attention while it lasted. And we still did have dinner together last night (at Salvador Molly's, which really hurt my digestive tract I think... woke up at midnight in serious pain). It just kind of made me feel better about our relationship and our sex life than I have in a while to have her be the one initiating things.

And today is Friday and I'm at work and I have Econ after work, then I'll probably see Eva tonight for dessert and tomorrow I'll see her for a movie (looks like "Finding Neverland") with Chris, and then I'll take her home, and it will be good. Salvador Molly's was with Kara and Eliah also, so there's been some K&E time, so that's good. Sunday I may end up going to Hillsboro for a video class project, which would be fine (hm, may rain on the project... but that could be good). So all in all, things are good.
