Seriously fun weekend. It was parent's weekend and we had the UVA game. We sat with the BCM for the game, which was great because I finally got to see my BCM friends who I miss so much. But we didn't get to sit next to them because the section was really crowded. I hate that I didn't see much of them last spring and I really hope we can get it together as friends before I have to leave for London and summer.

Most of the BCM kids left by the 4th quarter so once they'd gone we went to find Jackie and her parents and sat the rest of the game with them. Jackie is so much like her mom, it's so cute. And they're such Virginians; damn I miss Virginia Beach. Once the game was over (which we won!! Finally!! WOOT!!!) we met up with Amanda and her parents. We all decided to go out to dinner, Jackie's family, Amanda's family, me, Chels, and Wing. I was so so happy to go because I had nothing else to do and I didn't want to spend another boring weekend at home. So we decide to meet up back at the townhouses, and Chels and I walk back to the Aveda parking lot where we parked our car.

While we were walking, I commented to Chels, "I dunno why people would spend $20 to park in someone's driveway on game-day when they can just park in some parking lot like the Aveda lot." Well, we got back to the lot and our car had been towed. Yeah, it's a 24 hour tow-away zone, but they'd never really been hard-core about towing before. Sheesh. So we had to call the tow place and find out where they were, and call Amanda to let them know our car was gone.

We decided to eat out first because the towing place was guaranteed to be packed full of pissy students trying to get their cars back. We went to Capital Grill downtown, which was really good, and so much fun. Amanda and Jackie's parents are SO funny. Plus we took stupid pictures, which is always fun. We had just finished eating when me and Chels say Lauren inside with her parents. So we went to say hi, and then turned around and say Kaitlyn and her parents and her boyfriend. Too funny.

Then we went to get our car. So lucky we didn't end up paying for dinner (though I always feel uncomfortable when people buy my dinner...lol, I dunno...) but I realized on the way to the car place that I didn't have my Visa because I'd just took a small wallet to the game. But then I was like, oh yeah, I have cash, it's OK. Then we got to the tow place and I realized...I didn't have my license. Neither did Chels. We'd been driving to the game with no license. We just didn't think about it because, you know you're like, "Oh I'll need cash at the game to get a coke, and I need my FSU card to get in," But my license is just not something I think about needing. So luckily Wing got us out with her license and drove our car off the lot. Poor Mr. Nugent...it was such a Dad moment when we were like, uh...we don't have our licenses. Lol, but I'm so glad somebody's dad was there, lol.

And then we went back to Jackie and Amanda's and listened to Wing and the Nugents tell hilarious stories about drinking and Lutheren Church. Lol. And watched Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Too fun.

And today Mom and Dad and Granny came back from Roanoke. It was really good to see them, and I can't wait for Thanksgiving. But I'm glad they were only here for half a day...when we all get together, it's like nobody listens to anybody. You know? Like...we haven't seen each other for months, can't we just chat and catch up, but no, we're signing stuff and getting distracted by little things. And I'm like just stop being distracted and listen!! Ugh, I hate that when people can't focus on one thing and can't even be bothered to pretend they're listening to you. Because, really then why am I bothering talking? Lol. So yeah.

And now I have buttloads of homework that I've been putting off all weekend. Joy!
