Please don't mind me, I come in peace. I am a friend of K. Rock's and also a huge fan of Hate Your Friends. I couldn't help but notice your recap of Episode III. I saw it yesterday and noticed the same stuff (I agree with you totally) but also a few other things:

Um, Dooku just on his knees ready to take it like a bitch, come on now. Granted Anakin grabbed his saber but he just kneeled there for oh 30 seconds which to a Jedi is about 900 moves.

It's a shame for Hayden Christensen and Natalie. They are both very talented (if you see Hayden in other stuff, he is good) just unfortunately given this huge opportunity and shit for dialogue. Anyone would have grabbed the chance to partake back on 1999 but then they must have been out drinking after reading the script. Episode II was so bad that I truly just flip directly through love scenes. I mean, for a Jedi, the man, the warrior he was the biggest bitch ever. "My heart is beating for you...." oh God!

For your answer also; was that part in the end where Yoda instructs Obi-Wan on how Qui-Gon could speak immortally basically telling us how Obi-Wan continued to talk to Luke in the first three? I figured but what do you think.

Hope I haven't embraked on un-charted territory just love me some Star Wars, always have, always will. I could, however, sit with Goerge for a few choice words. III generally was the best of the new and I am happy I was able to make it through it and come out smiling. Thanks again.

No need to appologize, please...The more the mightier, I always say.

Well...Not ALWAYS...but sometimes.

I mean..Actually...No, I don't think I've ever said that until right now. Hmm.

Okay, ANYWAY (and thank you for your support of HATE YOUR FRIENDS..>We're awfully proud of it) yeah...When Yoda mentions the 'speaking from BEYOOOOND" stuff, he's referring to ability to appear as a 'force ghost' ala' Ben in the original trilogy. In the script there was actually a scene (or scenes) with Yoda actually speaking to the ghostly image of Qui-Gon...Telling him that something horrible was going to happen but it's all a part of a grand scheme etc. etc. I'm not sure if it was filmed and cut or just cut entirely. It would have made so much more sense.

(and, please, feel free to reply any time you want to)

Well thank you kindly sir. I figured as much when Yoda said that. Yeah, it seems George may have let a lot slip through the cracks. The beginning was a little slow with too much drama building up to the stuffed-at-the-end conlcusion. Everything happened so fast. Find out about Palpatine, kill Mace-Windu, become Darth, kills Jedis amuck, all in like 15 minutes. Even killing children without even thinking twice. I mean I know he becomes THE Dark Lord of all the galaxy but in 20 minutes?! It just felt a little crammed after kind of blah-blahing in the beginning. They should have really built his becoming up a lot more and I agree, Qui-Gon discussing this with Yoda, or the "terrible" something coming would have definitely helped. All-in-all it was at least redemption for the prequels but still, I'm sure, left many a fanatic unsatisfied, like you and I. Content, I am, fulfilled, I am not. More extended scenes when the DVD drops, I only hope. ;-)

Oh and you should be proud of the comic, it really is awesome and I can definitely relate to it as a reader and I'm sure other will agree. Keep up your good work. Patience is a virtue and I'm sure will pay off someday for you and Kris. I certainly hope so. Carry on then chap!
