*hates having to sober up half-way and be responsible on account of sudden deaths*

*Mentally calls from Lorien*

Irmo? Could you bring my tuning pipe from the office? I think I might have to sing her back into shape.

Right you are, Missus.

*rummages around through the house and eventually finds the requisitioned tuning pipe*

*manifests beside you*

There you go. How's it looking?

At the moment? Pretty grim. The damage is worse than it was with Miriel, this could take some doing.

And I'll have to go and see Fingolfin at some point, I told Elladan to leave it with me. Can't say I'm looking forward to that.

*sighs*

You really don't expect this to happen in this day and age.

I should have been there, I shouldn't have been gassing with Namo in Mandos. :'(

Not your fault. Elladan's a bloody good kid when it comes to the whole healing thing, and we never meddled like this before.

Truly, Daddy-Eru moves in mysterious ways.

Aye. Even I can't figure him out and most of what he does seems a bit crack addled... AlthoughI'msurethere'smethodtohismadness.

Yes, yes, I'm quite sure Eru has a plan. None of this is just random, or else what would be the point? Right? Right?

*looks up nervously*

Probably. I mean... I know I work best through a chaotic medium. Maybe he's doing to same? After all. It's part of the contract. No obligation to make sense to underlings.

True, but the underlings do like a sense of purpose. I don't like to tell them that we're as clueless as they are when it comes down to it.

Eh, well, it's obviously Eru teaching Fingolfin a lesson in valuing what he's got.

Pretty harsh lesson.

On the one hand... yes. On the other... This IS Fingolfin we're talking about.
