Does man's understanding now exceed his justifications and yearnings? No, I fear that instead, his justification exceeds his understanding, for we seem to be able to justify anything and everything in our own manners which, I'm sure, will make for another lovely day, if you'll all pardon my sarcasm. On the up side of things, I've not had to rise at 4:30 this morning, but have slept to a more solid and godly hour 1pm (even if I had meant to be up a few hours earlier), so go the joys of the long weekend; rest for all, nothing to do, and plenty to make do with, or so I hope.

This influx of free time should give me a chance to finish up a small Sherlock Holmes drabble that I started working on for fleurette yesterday, though I fear it is still not quite right, if ever it will be. *sighs* Such is the dilemma of an oftentimes museless writer. Nevertheless I shall try to complete it in due time and still hit choir practice later today at seven, after which I will likely return to take a peek at my LJ and those of anyone else than happens to catchy my fancy.
