To appease the paternal parental unit ("Are you alive ZOMG you don't post AAH) I'm posting.
Went to the opera last night. For a college production of Don Giovanni, it was very good. The guy playing Don Giovanni clearly took cues from CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. The set was freaking awesome. They did this really cool thing with lining the back stage with mirrors to make it look like the stage was bigger than it was. The last scene was very good (it's my favorite), but the ensemble was kind of off in some places. They did cool stuff with fog machines and strobe lights though.
Last weekend I had an adventure getting lost late at night in the middle of Indiana because the highway was closed off and the policeman gave me the wrong directions. We almost ended up going to Illinois before I figured out, hey, Bloomington is the OTHER way. And then my friend had to pee, so we pulled in a pit stop in a cornfield. Long night driving back. By the way, rural highways in Indiana? Not so great.
My life pretty much consists of homework, practice, homework, practice, homework, practice, sleep for a bit, get woken up by squirrels outside the window, go to class. So really, pretty boring.
