(Simplistic) Three [now Four!] Types of People

From my experience in life, all twenty four plus years of it, I feel very comfortable in breaking people down into four different, though sometimes overlapping, groups.

1. Leaders. These are the people who say when events are going to happen, and where they are going to happen. And most of the time that's exactly how and when events happen. Many of these people tend to be extroverted.

2. Facilitators. These are the people who make events go. They do the "grunt work" of arranging for facilities, getting word out about the events, setting everything up, or any other of the thankless duties that makes things happen. The experience I have here is many are introverts, though some of the "get the word out" types are extroverts.

3. Followers. These are the people who primarily go to the events. These are a good mix of introverts and extroverts. Some are those who act like total idiots and help people to have a good time. Others are those who sit on the edges, participating in things they want to participate in, watching others participate in the things they don't want to participate in.

4. Homebodies. These are people who generally prefer to stay in and not go out. They can just sit and read or play video games and be content. As with the other groups, they can overlap and actually go to places and hang out, or play video games at those places. These are sometimes the most introverted, but not necessarily. If they are with a group, they are usually most comfortable around 4-8. Multiplayer gaming is a choice sometimes partaken in.

The funny thing is, I fall into pretty much all four groups at different times. I'm sure most people land in two if not all three at times. Followers sometimes come up with ideas for events, but they don't want any responsibility in them happening, so you can't really call them Leaders or Facilitators, but they still contribute to the entirety of it.

For me, my primary category would be Facilitator. I'm always helping to set stuff up or clean up afterward. I can't really decide if Leader is my secondary, as most of the time when I try to make an event and make it happen, I have about a 50/50 chance of it happening like intended.

It's not a great post I know, just wanted to put something up and I've been thinking about this lately.
