I Saw Break Fast Tragedy Sunday

Aug 27, 2008 11:07

The car slides sideways

cones

signs

lights

a child

nothing is spared

The squeal of the tires makes everyone turn their heads and stare at the vehicular landslide careering through the intersection

Then the tires blow The sidewalls giving way Air pushing through the rubber sun dried and worn out of any flex they might have had

My Dali

My Scream

My Mona Lisa

Like a Rhinestone Cowboy

The poor bastard's tires rip off the wheels leaving the rims to spark on the freshly laid tar road

Which ignites

Sun of a bitch cooks inside of his car

That's ironic

I guess I feel a little bad for that couple on the sidewalk who get hit with the flames too

It smells like barbecue

He's a chicken nugget

They're sausages

Damn it

I forgot to eat lunch

Maybe McDonald's

But that barbecue

Hmmmmm

What the fuck man

I'm a good guy

Ya know Jimmy everyone wants to go to Heaven but no one wants to die

The bullet hit him as he pulled away Skimming his nose You could almost hear the cartilage shatter and mix with the blood OOOOOOOOOOh

So much better than oils or watercolors.  The paint of the body and the stroke of my hand is the stuff of genius

It's so               so                     so                     erotic

so              beautiful

As the pain and the shock hit him he must have sped up Stepped on the gas in fright Lost control of the car at the intersection

Mmmmmmgh  That's good

I love my obsession weakness strength

Here is my perfect circle

Here is my transmortal path

My soul's gateway

My everlasting art

What did you DO

You SHOT him

YOU'RE SICK

I'm CALLING the POLICE

KILLER

KILLER

HE SHOT THAT MAN

No

Please no

Not m-

Shhhhh            You're killing the moment

Jimmy was a nice boy He enjoyed    dogs

hanging out with his friends

and working on cars

He just didn't respect his neighbors

Jimmy frequently threw loud parties that would last into the wee hours of the morning and regularly displayed a complete disregard for his neighbors rights of peace and privacy

Even when they asked him to turn down the music he would ignore them or tell them to get lost

The moral of this story is to respect others and be considerate of your neighbors or you just might get shot lose control of your car and die

After watching my baby unfold and some of the locals came to help some of the injured away from the burning wreck I turned around and walked into the bar and grille across the street

The woman behind the counter seemed a little tense when I told her that all the action outside had made me hungry

That much excitement always makes me hungry and the smell of that kid burning reminded me of pulled pork
