bush said he elected Miers because she was a very conservative evangelical christian. the white house said bush did no such thing.
how the hell do they expect to cover this up? It came right out of Bush's mouth, so now the white house is just flat out saying he was lying or confused? I dont get it. i tend to believe Bush when he states why he elected Miers. Do they really expect America to believe a press secretary over Bush on why the president did something?
