I'm still here, I apologize to those of you who've missed me (if any of you have, haha). I really haven't been up to a whole lot out of the ordinary. I've been spending time with mum and Christopher, which is always pleasant. I've also been spending a great deal of time with Pete and Roger as well; I never tire of those two... Well, maybe... But, of course, you didn't hear that from me, haha.
Greg rang me up several days ago to let me know that he's going to be a grandfather... Again! That's always wonderful news to hear. He's got quite the large brood now, haha. He also rang me earlier this morning to let me know he's going to visit tomorrow, which is nice of him. I'm looking forward to seeing him as I haven't seen him in several weeks. He's been a busy man. I haven't heard much of anything from Moonie either; I suppose I just lead an uneventful life.
I began doing some new sketches as well, caricatures, if you will. They're rather interesting, haha. I decided to pencil some of The Who as they are now, including Moonie and myself. They're not bad, though of course, I'm a bit biased. If I had my way, they'd go into the National Gallery in London; with millions coming from far and wide just to see MY art. It deserves to be alongside Monet, eh?
Otherwise, it's been much more of the same as far as my life goes. Tomorrow is my 61st birthday, good God, when did I get so old?! I suppose I was old when it happened back in 2002, and Moonie was the only one of the 4 of us to live up to the lyrics of My Generation. Even then, looking back, I thought the 60-somethings were absolutely ancient, worse than Father Time (they all looked a bit like him too, haha). And now, here I am. 61, and not looking a bit like Father Time. Though, a bit of that can be attributed to my current situation and looking as if I'm 30 forever, haha. If I were still alive, perhaps I would have grown a long beard, and gone without cutting my hair, living up to my own Father Time image that I thought up all those years ago - or, perhaps not, haha. Thus far, it appears Greg is the only person who's remembered my birthday tomorrow (aside from my mum and son, of course). Maybe everyone forgot? After all, it's my first birthday during which I've been around since my 57th back in 2001. I suppose I won't blame them for forgetting; I really couldn't now, could I?
