I have never loved a man more than I love Billie! However, that still isn't as much as I love EM!
TC told us in order to study Jazz we must listen to Jazz and pick out styles and ideas that we like and incorporate them into are playing. So I have downloaded a whole bunch of Jazz today such as: Duke Ellington, Dave Holland, Buddy Rich, etc. I have also focused more on my instrument inparticular and download some Jazz and non-Jazz bass solos. Good these guys are amazing! I downloaded a Stu Hamm bass solo and he breaks out into all kinds of other songs one of which is a Charlie Brown song it is fucking amazing! I always thought Mike Dirnt was amazing but this stuffreally is FUCKING AMAZING! All the popping and slapping!
All of this makes me want to get a lot better!
