I'm apparently into CAPS tonight...
I've now officically declared a Journalism major (again...) and a History minor. I'm still trying to get into the Stage Management program, but I do have to face the very real fact that I may not get in. Either way I want to also get my Journalism degree so it works out. Even if I don't get into the program (crosses fingers and knocks on wood that I DO), if I'm good at what I do, I don't see why I can't still be involved in theatre. All my classes are working out great though and with the number of credits I have I'm technically a junior. So if I play my cards right I can definately still graduate in 2010 despite transfering.
My roomate is amazing! Her name is Maggie and she's supercool. We get along really well which is way more than I even asked for after my last roomate from hell. Our room is SO sweet. It's in a superrandom place (over the campus center and no one even knows we're here). It's one hallway of transfer girls only. Twenty of us in the entire building. V. strange. BUT it's almost hotel style and we have air conditioning AND our own bathroom and it's a very good size for a dorm AND it came with a microfridge that we were gonna have to pay $300 to rent FREE!!! So I'm DOWN. I have issues with the locks on our door though (after just spending two min trying to get them to go in right).
Outback is working out too. I just had my first shift tonight. It's the same as working at my store, but with all the stuff in different places. lol. The people there were fun and easy to work with, although I'm sure there will be drama eventually because we are waiters and waitresses with no lives who hate our jobs (although I really do like mine) so I'm sure there will be eventually. But w/e... I can handle myself and I am REALLY looking forward to the extra cash even though I don't really have many expenses. Maybe I'll actually be able to afford that camera I've been needing... hmmmm
I'm gonna have A LOT of work this semester, but I'm def ready for it. I think my brain was rotting at MCC. Even with all that, I can't help but think that the ONLY thing that can make this all even BETTER is if there was a guy for me totally fall for. I'm ready to fall for someone... it's been a long time... ah well... I'm working on it: When gorgeous British men ask me where the cafeteria is, I don't just point the way and continue what I'm doing... that would be stupid ;} Number maybe? lol. Not like I'll actually call... he lives an hour away and I'm a pussy. But hey a girl can dream no?
Alright... I've rambled on enough to absolutely no one. My roomate's already asleep and I should probably head there soon too. Although there IS a new release in (one of) my game(s?). lol... yea I'm a secret nerd I know. It's part of my charm? =) lol
